“ First this place is far from many other place but I would go to it in a heartbeat. First, because I'm a sucker for Inasal Chicken and they cooked theirs with the right amount of char while maintaining the juicyness of the chicken. Second, the people are good souls that make you feel like you're visiting a distant relative. Finally, the vibe of the place with their tokens and mementos gave it a unique vibe. You might have to contract a tricycle to take you there, wait for you, then take yoy back but for me it's worth it. It's a story of its own. ”
“ Amazing food and service! We checked into a nearby villa and asked to have the food delivered--they agreed despite the slightly difficult road. Our orders came to us still hot, the fish grilled perfectly, and the chicken was very crispy. Prices are reasonable and the serving sizes are pretty hefty. Thanks guys! ”
“ One of the best places for breakfast and Filipino food in Lio! The dishes are authentic, delicious, and full of flavor. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal in a cozy atmosphere. ”
“ Kape Ni Manang is one of the best restaurant we ve found in the Philippines and our favorite restaurant around El Nido ! Not only the dishes are extremely good and tasty, but the couple who own the place is incredibly kind : not only towards their customers (you'll feel like you're with long time friends) but they rescued many dogs and cats which they have adopted and also keep feeding a lot of famished animals. They have a big heart, and we love them also for that ! They also have a small part of the place designed as a small shop where you'll find some nice artistic creations Try them once to discover real tasty Filipino cuisine, and become addicted like us ! ”
“ Cousin who works in El Nido called it the best Filipino good in the Philippines and it was no exaggeration. Soooo good! The lumpia shanghai, sisig, and chicken inasal were my favs but everything was 10/10. ”
“ If I could give Kape ni Manang more stars, I would. During my stay in El-Nido, I visited this place twice. It’s an incredibly homey place, and feels like you’re in the backyard of family or friends. Both times, the food was amazing, with generous portions. I would say I’ve had the best food in El-Nido here. More than that, Erika and Jet are incredibly lovely people who made my experience what is was. On my second visit, Erika greeted me immediately by name and asked me to sit with her to eat as I was travelling solo. I’ve learnt so much about them, their journey with their restaurants and can honestly say they are fantastic people. There are a lot of animals here, as Erika had adopted a lot of dogs and cats Would recommend everyone visit this place even if it’s not super convenient for them. Moreso, if you are staying at Charlie’s El Nido or in the surrounding visit, then don’t miss this place!!!! ”
“ Had a great meal with my family after hiking to the Nagkalit-Kalit waterfall across the road. Refreshing drinks like Calamansi were had, along with amazing Filipino dishes like to fill you up. The owners were very nice and attentive, and also to our surprise one of them lived in the NYC-area for a while, being able to relate to us even more. ”
